The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue Dog of the Week is Morgan, the survivor of horrific cruelty and neglect. She had never known a day of comfort or the touch of a kind hand until she was saved by rescuers. Now that she has made a full physical recovery, she is waiting for a loving home of her own. She’s still shy with strangers, but is coming out of her shell and enjoying life. Morgan is young, likely under 2 years, thought to be a husky/retriever mix. Morgan requires a family that has lots of patience and love to share, and at least one other friendly dog to play with.
