Chiz Rider, a jazz-pop trumpeter and national recording artist “spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music,” will perform a free concert at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Christ First United Methodist Church, 663 Lakeview Ave., Jamestown. Through Chiz Rider Ministries, he maintains an active national touring schedule, performing 260 concerts a year in addition to several international performances. He’s played for several U.S. presidents, Congress, and opening ceremonies for the Pennsylvania and West Virginia Special Olympics. Admission is free, and everyone in the area is invited to attend.
