Prince-Milks-Mosher Family Reunion Is Aug. 13

SOUTH WALES — Descendants of Job Prince and Rhoda Kibbe will meet for the 115th annual Prince family reunion on Saturday at The Barone family farm, 1154 Olean Road, South Wales, NY, rain or shine, at 11 a.m.

Job Prince and Rhoda Kibbe had 10 children. Nine of those children spent at least some time in Cattaraugus County during the 1800s. Son Jonathan had a total of 20 children. Of those 20 children, 19 lived to adulthood and 18 married. Many descendants still live in the Western New York area. All are welcome to attend.

Other surnames include Doty, Harder, Milk(s), Mosher, Amidon, Harder, and many, many, more. Thosewith family in the Persia/Dayton/Gowanda area in the mid to late 1800s are probably related.

Those attending are asked to bring a dish to pass, a story to tell, updated family information, their own beverage, table service, chair and something for the basket giveaway. The goal is $2,000 to pay for underground radar and a new sign for the Milks Cemetery on Route 353 in Persia. Many of family members are buried there. Several known headstones have fallen and are buried.

The family has a Facebook page, Job Prince & Rhoda Kibbe genealogy that will be updated with more information at www.facebook.com/groups/472497856104979. Those attending or who need more information can call or text Annette at 716-560-3955 via text or voice or email PrinceReunion2013@gmail.com.
