Jamie Lynn Hamm, the daughter of (late) James K. Warner and Linda Warner-Taylor of Falconer, was among the Class of 2022 who received degrees at the 94th Commencement of Mercyhurst University on May 15, 2022.

After completing her studies in Science of Nursing, Jamie received a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Kathleen A. Getz, Ph.D, bestowing president of Mercyhurst University, presented diplomas during the proceedings. Jamie is a graduate of Falconer High School, Erie-2-Chautauqua-Cattaragus BOCES (LPN Program 2006), and Mercyhurst University (Associate degree in Nursing, RN program, 2021).

Future plans include continuing on for her Master’s in Science degree this fall at Mercyhurst University, performing a missions trip or two, advancing to a clinician level within UPMC from her current medical surgical floor nurse position, and continuing to aid in the “war of drugs and starvation”.

Jamie has been awarded the Presidential Award of Excellence in 2021 with her associate degree in nursing and has sustained high honors for her 4.0 grade point average throughout Mercyhurst University programs.
