The next monthly meeting of the Jamestown Audubon Nature Photography Club will be held on Thursday, July 14, at 6:15 p.m. in Audubon Community Nature Center’s multipurpose room.

Photographers of all skill levels are welcome to attend the meeting that is open to the public.

Short video presentations will be shown on July’s themes “Weather” and “Wetlands.”

Tuesday, July 12, is the deadline for members to submit photographs for the members’ slideshow to JASPhotoClub@gmail.com. Up to three photos each per person can be submitted on the subjects of Weather and Wetlands. Only one photo per person can be submitted on the subject of Help.

Beginning in the month of August, Judy Whittaker, director of the Ellington Farman Library in Ellington, New York, will have Club members show their photos on a revolving basis. Different photographers will showcase their work each month through December 2022.

A members and families picnic will be held during the month of August, and meetings will resume in September.

An on-going list of presentations by members for the upcoming year features photo journeys and hands-on demonstrations of photography techniques.

Face coverings are optional while inside the Nature Center building based on local transmission rates. Audubon requests that you wear a face covering while indoors if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have recently been exposed to a person who has tested positive.
