“Brave servicemen and women of the United States Armed Forces protect our freedom and liberty every day,” said Joe Paladino, Veterans of Modern Warfare Chapter 20 president. “We get to enjoy the privileges that are afforded to us due to their continuing hard work. VMW works to find ways to show appreciation and support of their dedication and service. Fundraising efforts and community donations make it possible for us to send the care packages filled with supplies and comforts of home to remind them that we are forever grateful for the sacrifices they have made to ensure our rights. As they come home, we will continue our support mission here at home with the VMW helping local veterans in need. We will welcome them home and into our veteran family as we do all veterans of all eras. God Bless America and the American soldier.”
The Veterans of Modern Warfare Chapter 20 works to recruit and inform local veterans of benefits, and maintain the integrity that no veteran will be left behind or forgotten. Veterans of Modern Warfare Chapter 20 is an organization consisting of veterans and volunteer members.
“Our veterans’ organization is dedicated to assisting veteran’s past, present and future. ” Paladino said. “We are here to reach out and let our servicemen/women know how much they are appreciated, respected and loved here on the home front, and we will be here for them when they return home. The packages being sent are a comfort from home that shows them the communities back home support them and cares about them. The more we can send, the more comfort they receive and it lets them feel just a little bit closer to home.”
