KENNEDY — 3 Springs Alpacas is celebrating National Alpaca Days on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

Those interested in alpacas can visit the farm and get a free tour to learn about alpacas. The farm also has a few horses, a cashmere goat, some chickens, ducks and two dogs that love visitors, too. The farm has three new cria (baby) and has 16 alpaca in all.

3 Springs Alpaca buys, sells and trades alpaca as only a small part of the farm business. 3 Springs Alpacas has been in business six years, and the open house will include the fiber/gift shop that includes items like hats gloves, scarves and socks made from alpaca fur.

The farm is located at 548 Route 394, Kennedy. The public is welcome to attend.

Also attending this year will be local local crafters, including Round Back She Shed, Colquhoun’s Custom Ice Cream, Tie-dye By Chyanne, Handcrafted Wreaths by Stacey and more.
