Love In the Name of Christ of Southern Chautauqua County is hosting its second annual Love Your Neighbor Campaign.

Area residents can show love to those they care about while supporting neighbors in need through Love INC. For $15, a “You are Loved!” sign and a personalized card will be delivered by a Love INC volunteer to a loved one within southern Chautauqua County. The sign will remain in their yard for one week and will then be relocated by the volunteer. The campaign runs from Sept. 1-28 with Sept. 27 the last day to request a sign.

Love In the Name of Christ of Southern Chautauqua County is a 501(c)3 organization, with a mission to assist neighbors in need through mobilizing the local church to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ.

“Our goal,” said Susan L. Justham, LOVE Inc. executive direcetor, “is to show our community, they are loved! We have had some difficult days this past year and half and we each want to know when times are tough, and when we are struggling that we matter. What a better way than to publicly show your love by having a sign placed in their yard telling them and our community they are loved!”

According to Justham, more than 300 signs were placed in 2020.

She called it “a successful first year, because of the positive impact it had on our community.”

To request a sign, visit www.loveincscc.org or call 338-9828.
