Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported Monday, bringing the total to date in Chautauqua County to 202. The new cases, according to the county Health Department, involve a woman in her 30s and a woman in her 60s.

The number of aactive cases decreased, from 27 reported Sunday to 19 on Monday.

The county Health Department said there are 738 county residents either in quarantine or isolation under orders from local health officials. Not all of those being monitored are confirmed to have COVID-19 but have either shown symptoms, are awaiting results or have risk factors.

Two people with the virus remain hospitalized in addition to 175 recoveries, eight deaths and 20,120 negative test results.
