Reynolds Named To Helping Hands Board

Megan Reynolds is the newest member of the board of directors at Community Helping Hands.

“Serving on the Community Helping Hands board of directors is a perfect opportunity to further allow me to ingrain myself into this community. I’ve seen the great needs in our community and would welcome this opportunity to help support both those in need and those wanting to help fill the needs,” Reynolds said.

Reynolds is currently director of pharmacy at The Chautauqua Center, a position she started in 2019. Reynolds is originally from Meadviile, Pa., and graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to her position at TCC, Reynolds worked as a pharmacist at CVS. Reynolds and her husband have two young sons and live in the Ashville area.

Katie Castro, Community Helping Hands board chairwoman, said Reynolds will be a great addition to the current board.

“Megan brings passion and expertise to our board as we continue to develop innovative collaborative programming to best serve the needs of our community,” Castro said. “We look forward to her contribution to our leadership and strategy.”

Community Helping Hands has continued to serve the area during COVID-19 by responding to emergencies on an individual basis. During the reopening of businesses in New York state, Community Helping Hands is taking agency referrals by appointments and will open its retail area soon. Donations are being accepted from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

In addition to Castro and Reynolds, other board members are Nathan Bailey, Carol Hay, Richard Huber, Cecil Rhoades and David Rishell.
