Richner Seeks Seat On Cassadaga School Board

Aaron Richner announced he is seeking a seat on the Cassadaga Valley Central School.

In a statement, he said: “I graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a degree in elementary education and I received my master’s degree in special education form Mercyhurst University. I have lived in the district for 18 years. I am married to my wife Lisa and have two children, Noah (junior) and Maya (first grade) in the Cassadaga district.

“I am currently employed as a teacher for the New York state Department of Corrections and community supervision. My job has afforded me the opportunity to be an acting education supervisor which is similar to a building principal in the public schools. I have strong organizational and leadership skills that I will use to form relationships with administration, faculty, staff and the community.

“I am a board member of the merged Cassadaga Valley/Falconer Boys and Girls Soccer Boosters. I am an active volunteer at my church, Church On The Rock, in Lakewood as a sound technician. I am seeking this seat on the school board because I have a young daughter in the district and I want to make sure that the level of excellence that the teachers and staff provide to the students is maintained and continues to grow to meet future challenges.

“My main goal is to ensure that the school board does what is right for the children of the district while maintaining a fiscal responsibility to the taxpayer. I would appreciate your vote.”
