Panama Central Honors Students Of The Second Quarter

Deidre Cavness

PANAMA – Panama Central School officials recently released the school’s Students of the Second Quarter. They are:

¯ Deidre Cavness seventh grade class and the daughter of Erin Green and Joel Williams of Ashville. Deidre is on the Honor Roll, plays the alto saxophone in the school band and is a member of Art Club. She enjoys soccer, softball, basketball, video games, art and music. Deidre’s favorite subject in school is math, her favorite music singer is Charlie Puth and favorite TV show is The Office.

¯ Ashlynn Weaver, eighth grade and the daughter of Michael and Nicole Weaver of Panama. Ashlynn is an Honor Roll student. She is in chorus, plays bass clarinet in the band and is a member of Art Club and Foreign Language Club, she will be in the school musical “Matilda” this year. Ashlynn attends IMPACT and is an IMPACT leader. Ashlynn enjoys reading, painting, and anything to do with singing and dancing including Swedish folk dancing. Her favorite subject in school is social studies, she loves to listen to all kinds of music and favorite TV show is Gilmore Girls.

¯ Evelyn Montagna ninth grade and the daughter of Leonard and Deanna Montagna of Panama. Evelyn is a member of the Panama girls’ swim team, chorus, plays the flute in the school band and is on the Merit Roll. She is a member of SADD, IMPACT and the Women in Leadership group. Evelyn enjoys tennis and photography. Her favorite subject in school is English, favorite singer is Khalid and favorite TV show is Gossip Girl.

¯ Madelynn Lisciandro, 10th grade and the daughter of Kellie Lisciandro of Panama and John Lisciandro of Jamestown. She is an Honor Roll student. Madelynn is a member of the girls’ swim team and girls’ basketball team, plays the alto saxophone in the band and is a member of Student Council and SADD. This year she will be in the school musical “Matilda”. Madelynn’s favorite subject in school is math, favorite music group is Queen and Criminal Minds is her favorite TV show.

Ashlynn Weaver

¯ Ryan Oberg, 11th grade and the son of Eric Oberg and Michielle Crandall of Panama. Ryan participates on the Clymer-Sherman-Panama cross country team at Panama. Ryan is studying Intro. to Technology and Computer Systems at the Hewes Center.

¯ Layla Gaziyeva, 12th grade and a foreign exchange student from Baku, Azerbaijan, whose host parents are Christine Silzle and Tim Sturges of Panama. Layla is on the Honor Roll, a member of chorus, High School Bowl and the PCS Service Club. Layla will be in the school musical “Matilda” this spring.
