Washington Names Students Of The Month

Washington Middle School recently named its students of the month for January.

Sofia Agafonova, fifth grade: “My favorite subject is science. My hobbies include art and sewing. When I grow up, I would like to be an interior designer. One person who has influenced my life is my mom because she is respectful and kind. My advice to my classmates is to pay attention and be kind to others.”

Madison Martin, sixth grade: “My favorite subject is social studies. My hobbies include dance, soccer, sewing, acting and singing. When I grow up, I would like to be a singer because it is my passion and I love doing chorus. One person who has influenced my life is my mom because she has always been there for me and always tells me to never give up. My advice to my classmates is to always be kind and never give up.

McKenzie Pickett, seventh grade: “My favorite subject is math, ELA & science. My hobbies include playing sports and hanging out with friends. When I grow up, I would like to be a nurse because I want to be like my mom. One person who has influenced my life is my mom because she teaches me a lot of things I didn’t know before. My advice to my classmates is to listen to the teacher more.”

Antonie Rodriguez, eighth grade: “My favorite subject is Spanish. My hobbies include baseball, basketball and football. When I grow up I would like to be a professional baseball player. One person who has influenced my life is Mrs. Penhollow because she has taught me so much. My advice to my classmates is to study for every test.”
