‘Midway’ To Be Shown At Reg

The World War II drama “Midway” shows Saturday, at 8 p.m. and the American legal thriller “Dark Waters” shows Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 7 p.m. at Reg Lenna Center for The Arts.

On Dec. 7, 1941, Japanese forces launch a devastating attack on Pearl Harbor, the U.S. naval base in Hawaii. Six months later, the Battle of Midway commences on June 4, 1942, as the Japanese navy once again plans a strike against American ships in the Pacific. For the next three days, the U.S. Navy and a squad of fighter pilots engage the enemy in one of the most important and decisive battles of World War II. Midway is rated PG-13 and is 138 minutes long.

In “Dark Waters,” a tenacious attorney, Mark Ruffalo, uncovers a dark secret that connects a growing number of unexplained deaths to one of the world’s largest corporations. While trying to expose the truth, he soon finds himself risking his future, his family and his own life. Dark Waters is rated PG-13 and is 126 minutes long.
