Portraiture Presentation To Highlight Audubon Photo Club Meeting Thursday

The many considerations of portrait photography will be the focus of the Audubon Nature Photography Club meeting on Thursday at 6:15 p.m.

Participants are encouraged to bring their cameras, tripods, and external flash units for a hands-on demonstration that will involve portraiture of and by the members.

The main themes for the monthly member slide show are Thanks and Harvest. Members are reminded that Tuesday is the deadline for emailing images to jasphotoclub@gmail.com.

Club members have the opportunity to display photographs at Falconer Public Library and in Audubon’s multipurpose room on a rotating basis.

Facilities or organizations that would like to exhibit photos at their locations are invited to contact John Brustrom at retiredpeasant@gmail.com.

Julie Rodriguez will provide refreshments for the social time that follows the meeting.

Anyone who has an interest in nature photography is welcome to participate in Audubon Nature Photography Club meetings at Audubon Community Nature Center. Those with photography skill levels from beginner cell phone owner to point and shoot or digital SLR owners are encouraged to attend.

For more information contact club co-presidents John Brustrom at retiredpeasant@gmail.com or Karen Christy at karen.m.christy@aol.com or visit the Club Facebook page at facebook.com/jasphotoclub789.

The Audubon Community Nature Center is located at 1600 Riverside Road, one-quarter mile east of Route 62 between Jamestown and Warren.
