Comedian Yannis Pappas will be performing in Jamestown tonight as part of the National Comedy Center’s Tropicana Room stand-up series at 7 and 9:30 p.m.

Pappas is a Greek-American comedian born and raised in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Yannis was the former host of the AOL original series 2 Point Lead, a sports comedy show, and the co-anchor, alongside journalists Marianna Antonio and Pedro Andrade, of Fusion Live, a primetime, one-hour news program focused on current events, pop culture and satire that aired on Fusion network.

Yannis’s Comedy Central Half Hour special aired in June 2014, and his comedy album “Let Me Be Yannis” was named Sirius XM 2016 “Comedy Album of the Year.” He is also known for his popular internet characters “Maurica” and “Mr. Panos.”

He performs a webseries “Bay Ridge Boys” and a podcast “History Hyenas” with fellow comedian Chris Distefano.
