The Southern Tier Kidney Association recently donated handwarmers and back warmers to be used by kidney dialysis patients to help make them more comfortable during their exchanges. Most patients use dialysis three times a week and the mission of the Southern Tier Kidney Association is to support them and their families. The organization has been in existence since 1978 and continues to meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 4 p.m. at UPMC Chautauqua Hospital.
