Ashley Nelson, new Story Hour Director at the Falconer Public Library can be seen reading stories to her children, Jack and Julia.

FALCONER — Ashley Nelson is their the Falconer Public Library’s new story hour director.

Nelson is a graduate of Falconer High School and St. Bonaventure University with a degree in elementary education and special education. The story hour program is a 30-week registered program on Wednesday mornings beginning Sept. 11 and ending May 6. The 3-year-old class meets from 9 to 10 a.m. while the 4-year-old class meets from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Each week there will be a theme with stories, songs, crafts and snacks. There are still openings for both classes. To register, visit the library at 101 W. Main St., Falconer, or call 665-3504.
