Allegheny Health Network Is New Chautauqua Lake Pops Sponsor

Allegheny Health Network will be the naming rights sponsor of the Chautauqua Lake Pops floating stage for three years.

The stage, originally located in Bemus Point, was developed by Bemus Point businessman Dan Dalpra. Dalpra relocated the stage on the lake’s north end and gateway to 16 Water St., Mayville. Dalpra reintroduced the Chautauqua Lake Pops Concert Series this summer. The series features performances by the 44-member Chautauqua Lake Pops Symphony, formerly the Bemus Bay Pops, followed by headlining tribute bands and other musical performances.

Beginning in 2020, the stage will be known as the Allegheny Health Network Floating Stage. Allegheny Health Network will present an official ribbon cutting, celebration and inaugural concert to kick off the 2020 season of the Allegheny Health Network Floating Stage at the season’s first concert.

“Residents of this region treasure every day of summer and value every opportunity to enjoy life outdoors during the season, which is why we are so pleased to put the Allegheny Health Network name on this stage and help bring the beauty of music and nature together for the people of this region,” said Karen Surkala, Westfield Memorial Hospital president. “This stage carries a great tradition that the Chautauqua Lake Pops Concert Series resurrected and we at AHN and Westfield Memorial are really excited to help ensure that it continues.”
