SHERIDAN — Financial consulting firm Andersen Cuddihy Inc. and Integrated Benefit Solutions collaborated to host their fourth wine tasting charity event, raising $1,606 to benefit Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care.

The event was co-sponsored by iShares by BlackRock, Nottingham Advisors Asset Management and Univera Healthcare. The fundraiser, which was held at Liberty Vineyards and Winery, 2861 Route 20, Sheridan, featured wine tasting, hors d’eouvres and a basket giveaway.

“Donna, Jack and I are very pleased to support Hospice with this event,” said Rick Andersen, partner at Andersen Cuddihy Inc. “Hospice has touched the lives of our families and the work that they do is critical in supporting families during very difficult times. We are grateful to our clients, co-workers, and friends for coming out to Liberty Vineyards for this event and supporting this terrific organization.”

“Our hats are off to Liberty Vineyards and the organizers of the event,” said Shauna Anderson, Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care president and CEO. “Many thanks to Donna Thompson of IBS, as well as Rick Andersen and Jack Cuddihy for thinking of Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care and assisting us to continue providing the care that Chautauqua County has come to expect.”

The mission of Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care is to provide comprehensive palliative/end-of-life care and education.

The agency provides hospice care for patients and families facing life-limiting terminal illness, palliative care for those with serious chronic illness, and bereavement support to individuals, families and organizations who have suffered the loss of a loved one.
