Persell Middle School recently announced its Students of the Year. They are:

Lucas Arnone is the fifth grade Student of the Year at Persell Middle School. He is the son of Nathan Arnone and Laura Anderson. Lucas enjoys playing hockey, skate boarding and skiing. His favorite classes are ELA and math. Lucas would like to live in Madrid, Spain when he is older.

Holden Putney is the sixth grade Student of the Year at Persell Middle School. He is the son of Taylor and Annika Putney. Holden enjoys playing golf and video games in his spare time. His favorite subject is math and he wants to go to college after he graduates high school.

Maxwell Knight is the seveth grade Student of the Year at Persell Middle School. He is the son of Travis and Kimberly Knight. Max’s hobbies include baseball, basketball, football and marching band. His favorite class is ELA and he would like to join the U.S. Air Force when he is older.

Jacob Smeraldo is the eighth grade Male Student of the Year at Persell Middle School. He is the son of Patrick and Jill Smeraldo. Jacob’s hobbies include running, playing music and other sports. His favorite subject is science. Jacob plans to go to college, get a degree and obtain a good job to support his family.

Meghan Mistretta is the eighth Grade Female Student of the Year at Persell Middle School. She is the daughter of David and Susan Mistretta. Meghan’s hobbies include playing violin, viola, euphonium and marching in the JHS Band. Her favorite subject is science and she wants to obtain a Master’s Degree in Music in the future.
