Mayville Concerts Begin Thursday

The Mayville/Chautauqua Community Chamber of Commerce welcomes The Dave Golando Big Band as the performers of the Thursday performance of the 2019 Entertainment in the Park Summer Performance Series.

The musical performances for this year’s concert series will take place at a new location this year, courtesy of the Chautauqua Lake Pops — the Floating Stage behind the Mayville Depot from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The Dave Golando Big Band has been performing throughout Western New York for the last decade and entertaining audiences with their blend of jazz, blues, R&B, rock, vocal favorites, gospel, Latin, and swing.

These performances are available at no cost through funding and support by the village of Mayville and town of Chautauqua. Seating will be provided for the outside performance, courtesy of the Chautauqua Lake Pops.

In case of inclement weather, the performance will take place in the Carlson Community Center located at Lakeside Park a short distance from the Mayville Depot.

Seating is available for inside performances but those attending should plan on bringing seating in case more chairs are needed in the Community Center. A 50/50 will be held at each of the musical concerts again this summer benefiting the Chamber and its work in the community. The Mayville Fire Department will offer popcorn and water on a donation basis at the performances as well.

The Maple Springs Fire Department will also again be selling barbecue dinners at each of the 2019 performances benefiting their fire department.
