Southwestern Middle School officials recently selected the schools June Students of the Month. They are:

Judd Harris, sixth grade and the son of Kristin Harris of Lakewood. His favorite subjects are math, gym and social studies. Judd belongs to the Southwestern Ski Club, Band and Choir. Outside of school, he plays on Southwestern Little League Gladiators baseball team, YMCA basketball and golf. Judd enjoys riding his bike, kayaking and swimming, playing baseball, basketball.

Grace Anderson, seventh grade and the daughter of Amy and Chris Anderson of Lakewood. Her favorite subjects are English language arts, science and band. Grace is on the Southwestern cross country team. Outside of school, she plays piano and goes to youth group. Grace likes to relax, eat ice cream, make movies on her iPod and play outside.

Paul Hayes, eighth grade and the son of Julie and Chris Hayes of Jamestown. His favorite subjects are Algebra 1, English language arts and science. Paul plays on Southwestern modified football, basketball and track teams. He belongs to his church youth group and Southwestern Jr. Honor Society. When he isn’t in school, Paul likes to play video games, basketball, travel and hang out with friends.

Christopher Miller, eighth grade and the son of Michelle and Correy Miller of Lakewood. His favorite subject is science. Chris plays on Southwestern football, basketball and track and field teams, he also belongs on Southwestern Jr. Honor Society and Impact. When Chris is not in school he likes to hang out with his friends.
