Boys, Girls Club Summer Hours Begin Today

The Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys and Girls Club of Jamestown will begin summer hours and their official summer schedule soon.

Beginning Monday and ending Friday, Aug. 16, adult hours are 7 a.m. to noon for swimming, the gym and the weight room.

For youth, hours will be noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, June 21, for the half day of class at Jamestown Public Schools. The last day for the club to be open at night, except for Thursday Family Nights, is Wednesday, June 19.

Beginning Tuesday, June 25, through Friday, Aug. 16, youth hours are noon to 5 p.m., with free swim from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m., lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m. and a snack from 3 to 3:30 p.m. All program areas will be open.

Youth members can attend at no charge while non-members are $1 a day. A one-year youth membership is $20 a year. Some scholarships are available.

Camp Hiak Tilikum will run from July 1 through Aug. 16 from Monday through Friday. To register for the camp, children must have a membership. The weekly camp fee is $100 per child with some scholarships available. Camp runs daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with an optional early drop off of 7:30 a.m. and late pick up of 5:30 p.m.

The club and camp are closed July 4 and all Saturdays in the summers.

The club will not be open at night except for Thursday nights for Family Night. Family Night is from 6 to 9 p.m. with free swim from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. For family night, families must come together and stay together.

No swim lessons for adults or youth will be held in the summer.
