Astro-Space CEO Offers Series

FREDONIA — Christopher Centi, CEO of Centi Astro-Space Activities, will offer a series of presentations exploring Apollo 11, other Apollo missions and interesting lunar characteristics at 6 p.m. Thursdays, June 20, June 27 and July 11, at the Barker Library in Fredonia.

The public is invited to attend and get involved with the presentations, which will include hands-on activities, videos and discussions. On June 20, the group will explore the Apollo 11 mission and people will be able to share stories of their experience of the event. The group will also explore some of the characteristics of the moon using hands-on activities.

On June 27, the other Apollo missions will be covered along with additional hands-on activities. The last presentation on July 11 will include a discussion on the question of, “If the Moon didn’t existor it was destroyed, what effect would that have on the Earth?”

Centi Astro-Space Activities began operating in 1985 and continues to provide hands-on programs in all areas of astronomy and space science. Programs are offered to educational groups, organizations and community events for all ages. Courses are also available in person and online.
