550 Pounds Of Food Collected In Annual Collection Drive

MAYVILLE — Due to the generosity of the U.S. Postal Service, letter carriers and postal customers, 30 tubs of non-perishable food and hygiene products were collected and donated to the Mayville Food Pantry (St. Paul’s Episcopal Food Pantry), totaling about 550 pounds. The Mayville Food Pantry serves those in need within the Chautauqua Lake Central School District. The Food Pantry is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Postal Carrier Rich Nowell delivered the many tubs of collected items to the pantry. The Food Pantry is located at the Cheryl Steinbach Outreach Center, 99 S. Erie St., Mayville. For information on the Food Pantry, call 224-3814.
