Seniors Discuss Upcoming Trip

Jamestown Senior Center members met for coffee and cookies recently at the fellowship hall in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 556 E. Second St.

The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and the singing of God Bless America.

The June 18 trip will leave the parking lot in Falconer, across from Tops Market, at 7:15 a.m. Reservations are still being accepted for the Branson, Mo., trip from Sept. 15-21. A $75 deposit is required at the time of registration. The balance of the cost must be paid by July 1.

The group is playing Bingo on Mondays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Video exercises are held from 10 to 11 a.m. Mondays.

New members are welcome.

The next meeting will be at 1 p.m. May 28 in the Immanuel Lutheran Church fellowship hall.

Door prizes were won by Peg Kerr, Shirley Vandenburg, Arvilla McKotch and JoAnn Hoglund.

The speaker was Cindy Redding from the Dwyer program, which helps veterans integrate into society after returning from active duty.
