With hundreds of works of art from kindergarten through 12th grade, the district’s artists will have the opportunity to showcase their creative art skills to their families and the community.

Each Jamestown art teacher selected pieces of student artwork to include in the show.

After the opening reception, the artwork will be on display at Jefferson Middle School through June 4 in the lobby by the school auditorium.

“The district art show is an opportunity for student artists at all grade levels to display their talents,” said Jamie Berg, district coordinator of humanities. “With hundreds of exhibits featuring both two-dimensional and three-dimensional work, there should be something for everyone. I am excited for our students and hope we have a great turnout.”

The art show is open to the public from May 21 through June 4.

The community is encouraged to visit the art show at Jefferson Middle School during school hours by signing in at the Jefferson Middle School main office to visit the district’s artistic showcase.
