Jamestown High School Recognizes February Students Of The Month

Jamestown High School officials recently announced the school’s February Students of the Month. They are:

Ava Hagelin, a freshman at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Paul and Kim Hagelin. She is involved in mixed chorus and will be in A Capella next school year. Ava is also a member of the JHS tennis team. In her free time, Ava takes dance class and voice lessons. After graduation, Ava plans to study a profession in health care.

Alivia Graham, a sophomore at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Stephen Graham. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. In her spare time, Alivia babysits. After graduation, she plans on attending collage.

Olivia Ruiz, a junior at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Millie Torres-Ruiz and Nelson Ruiz. Olivia has been successful in winning Poetry Out Loud at the high school and regional levels this year. She is a part of the A Cappella and Madrigal choirs and actively volunteers for Key Club. In the future, Olivia plans to attend ESF at Syracuse studying and pursuing a career in environmental science. Olivia is very excited to potentially study more about preserving nature.

Emma Weng, a senior at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Priscilla and Keith Banes. She is a member and team captain of the Varsity Softball team. After high school, Emma plans to study forensic science at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
