Jamestown Announces Students Of March

Mia Rowe, a freshman at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Matthew and Maria Rowe. Mia was in the JHS production of “The Drowsy Chaperone” as one of the gangsters. She also is an avid musician. Though she isn’t in the school music programs, she taught herself ukulele and a bit of keyboard. Mia is also a dancer at “Dancing with Victoria.” In her spare time, she enjoys drawing and painting but she spends most her time writing journals and poetry, which she performs at the Labyrinth Press Co. at their poetry slam. After high school, Mia wants to travel and attend collage to be an English or drama teacher.

Daniel O’Brien, a sophomore at Jamestown High School, is the son of John and Kolene O’Brien. Daniel is a member of the Varsity Football Team, Varsity Wrestling Team and the JHS Track and Field Team. Daniel enjoys spending time doing outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends. His current, future plans are to attend Jamestown Community College with hopes to attend the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Academy.

Ryan Fisk, a junior at Jamestown High School, is the grandson of Rebecca Cory and Mark Curran. Ryan Fisk goes to BOCES for Graphics Technology. In his spare time, Ryan plays video games and goes for walks with his grandparents. After graduation, he plans to go to a collage to help further learn about photography.

William Karr, a senior at Jamestown High School, is the son of Kevin and Darlene Karr. William is an Ambassador of Jamestown High School’s new Justice For All elective. In his spare time, William enjoys hanging out and dancing with his friends. William participated in the Junior Battle dance for Jamestown High School’s 40th annual Battle of the Classes. William also enjoys public speaking and competed in New York-New England Optimist Oratorical Competition. William always has a smile on his face and strives to use his energetic spirit to lift up all those around him.
