Gerry Hosts Memorial Day Parade

GERRY — The Gerry Memorial Day weekend parade was held beginning at the Gerry Fire Department. The parade followed Route 60 to the Gerry Cemetery where Paul Cooley served as the master of ceremony. The Cassadaga American Legion Post 1280 Honor Guard led the parade, and music was provided by the Cassadaga Valley School Band and the 996th Highlanders Pipe Band. Susan Rowley of the Blue Star Mothers was the guest speaker for the program. Pictured are members of the Valley Historical Society and representatives of other organizations.
