Society Of Artists To Meet Tuesday
CELORON — The new year is starting for the Chautauqua County Society of Artists, which will hold its first 2019 meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Celoron Community Building in Lucille Ball Park.
The project will be watercolors using tissue paper taught by Mary Barker and Elaine Caflisch. Participants are asked to bring a variety of paint brushes, from small to an inch across, to be used in the class. Everything else will be provided.
New potential members are encouraged to attend.
The organization’s second meeting on April 9 will have Christine Roessler teaching a beach glass project.
Meetings are held monthly on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. from March through September. The November meeting is not held due to the society’s Holiday BazaArt Show/Sale, which will be Saturday, Nov. 9.
