Persell Middle School recently announced students of the month for February. They are:

Mya Shirley is the fifth grade Student of the Month at Persell for February.

She is the daughter of Nicole Whitton and Tyler Shirley. Mya’s loves to dance and her favorite class is math. Mya’s goal in life is to become a veterinarian.

Hailey Darling is the sixth grade Student of the Month at Persell for February.

She is the daughter of Melissa Darling and Kenneth Johnson. Hailey’s hobbies include doing art projects and hanging out with her friends. Her favorite class is ELA and she would like to become a lawyer when she grows up.

Sydney Maggio is the seventh grade Student of the Month at Persell for February.

She is the daughter of Chris and Mary Maggio. Sydney enjoys dancing, reading Harry Potter and hanging out with her friends. She wants to go to college and become a teacher in the future.

Rebecca VanDuyne is the eighth grade Student of the Month at Persell for February.

She is the daughter of Suzanne VanDuyne. Rebecca enjoys reading, dancing and singing in her spare time and her favorite class is science. Her goal in life is to go to Stony Brook University and to study Astronomy and Anthropology.
