Brookdale Lakewood and the United Senior Council recently crowned the 2019 Chautauqua County Sweethearts in the seventh annual ceremony held at Brookdale Lakewood. The sweethearts were Virginia Destro, left, and Bill Whitmore, right. Both winners were nominated by their families for the way they have given back to the Chautauqua County community and to their families. Winners were treated to prize packages with prizes donated from both Brookdale Lakewood and The United Senior Council.
