One hundred and twenty-seven animals found their way home during the Chautauqua County Humane Society’s Season of Hope adoption drive that wrapped up Dec. 23.

The goal was to make it to 100 pets adopted. Sponsors include Happy Hounds Hotel and Day Spa and the Media One Radio Group (SE-93, 101.9 WHUG, 103.1 The Fox, Kiss 106.9, 1240 & 101.3 WJTN, and 1340 WKSN. The drive began on Nov. 23.

“It’s amazing what can be accomplished in such a short amount of time,” said Brian Papalia, Chautauqua County Humane Society community relations director. “In less than a month were able to not only reach the goal of finding 100 loving homes for animals, but to exceed that goal, is truly awesome. At CCHS we are thankful to have great support from Happy Hounds Hotel and Day Spa, and the Media One Radio Group, as well as our community who responded, by coming to CCHS and adopting all of these loving animals.”
