Seniors Meet For Dinner

The Jamestown Senior Center met recently at the center, 556 E. Second St., Jamestown, for a tureen dinner furnished by members.

Shirley Vandenburg opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and a group singing of God Bless America.

Birthdays acknowledged were Sharon Garrison, Ron Wilcox, Joanne Puder and Laurel Magnuson.

The trip to the Erie Station Theater on Dec. 4 is full. Standby orders are being accepted. The trip leaves from the Jamestown Community College Falconer Street parking lot at 9:30 a.m.

There will be no meeting in November.

The center’s Christmas dinner will be at noon at Alfie’s Restaurant. Choice of menu is required by calling 665-5182 or 499-5816 for reservations. The cost of $10 can be sent to the center by Nov. 26.
