The public will have three more opportunities to see “Mamma Mia” at the Lucille Ball Little Theatre now that theatre officials have extended the show’s run for one additional weekend.

Theatre officials said the show is the most successful musical performed at the theatre in more than 30 years, playing to full houses over its last six performances with more than 2,400 people attending. Additional performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. today, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

“It came as no surprise to me,” said Helen Merrill, director. “When you have a fantastic musical, an incredible cast and crew and a superb orchestra, success is inevitable. I am so pleased to be directing the show. Tickets are going fast. I would encourage all to make thier reservations post-haste by calling the theatre at 483-1095.”
