Mayville Senior last met on June 21 with Bonnie Johnson, president, welcoming all. Bonnie asked Dianne Goodrich to do the Blessing before the meal. Mary Carlson called the table numbers. After lunch, Bonnie led the Pledge to the flag. Edna Brown gave the treasurer’s report and Izetta Ayling read the Secretary’s report. Mary Carlson listed cards sent to members.

A trip to Letchworth State Park is scheduled Sept. 11 with final payment ($61 member or $65 non-member) due July 26. After exploring the Willliam Pryor Museum lunch will be served at the Glen Iris Inn. Entree choice for lunch should be given to tour directors. Thursday, July 19, will be the group’s only meeting in July. If members haven’t yet signed up for a sub, please call Bonnie to order one before July 11.

Tickets at $8 each were sold for the Midway Picnic sponsored by Office for the Aging. The picnic is scheduled Aug. 10.

Bonnie welcomed new members, Herb and Laurie Magnuson of Bemus Point.

At the group’s July meeting there will be guest speakers from Chautauqua Physical and Occupational Therapy of Jamestown. They will present information regarding causes and treatment for back pain.
