Stow Senior Citizens To Host Dinner Meeting

Members of the Stow Senior Citizens Group were given a presentation by the “Stow Away Kids” 4-H Club at the last dinner meeting held on March 19, at the Stow Senior Center.

This unit is one of many units in Chautauqua County. The youth members, guided by their senior leaders, spoke about their experiences in various events and in the special projects that they had accomplished.

They learn about raising and the personal attention that must be given to rabbits to cows, and to horses. The experiences that the youth undergo, contribute to their maturation, character building and undertaking of individual responsibilities of each boy and girl member.

Norm Czubaj, Juanita Holthouse, Hal Wiggers and Ellen Coffaro were greeted by a melody of “Happy Birthday” and a beautiful cake provided by Ellen Coffaro. Many thanks were given to the hosts for the Soup and Sandwich dinner: Sue Harper, Dorothy and Charlie Krause, Pat and Gordon Saulsgiver, and Bonnie Johnson.

The next dinner meeting will be held on Monday, April 16 at 6 p.m. at the Stow Senior Center.
