The Small Business Development Center at Jamestown Community College is pleased to recognize William Uhl and ServPro of Jamestown/Olean as the recipient of this year’s Small Business Week Award for the Buffalo district.

The staff of ServPro was recognized at the annual Small Business Administration luncheon, held May 10. Uhl has owned and operated ServPro since January 2016. ServPro of Jamestown/Olean’s mission is to develop a team of quality people who focus on excellent service, fairness and mutual respect. ServPro restores homes and/or businesses after fire, water or other damage.

Additionally, they can provide assistance with reconstruction of the building after the damage has been mitigated.

Uhl has grown the company significantly since he purchased it several years ago.

He has also created several new jobs in a short amount of time.

According to Uhl, “My wife, Jennifer, and I wanted to do something that would give back to the community. We felt this was one of the best ways to do so.”
