City Chamber Picks Coordinator

Joanna Dahlbeck

The Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce has named Joanna Dahlbeck as coordinator for the Jamestown Community Chamber of Commerce.

Most recently with the Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau for nine years, Dahlbeck understands the importance of business and tourism promotion. She served as administration and membership services assistant, and also sees the importance of customer service in an industry that is focused on serving the needs of the business community.

Dahlbeck previously served as director of owner and guest services for Vacation Properties Group where she oversaw a support staff representing more than 300 vacation rental properties. She earlier worked for Sunburst Travel/The Travel Team where she planned business and vacation travel for local corporations and individuals. She is a graduate of The Boyd Career School with a major in travel and tourism.

Jamestown Community Chamber Board President Vicki McGraw said, “I am pleased to welcome Joanna to the Jamestown Community Chamber. She brings with her experience in working with the public and an energy to advance our chamber mission. I look forward to working with her on the many exciting projects the chamber has planned in the coming months.”

Todd Tranum, president and CEO of the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce, added, “Joanna has a background in customer service and that’s a tremendous asset to our organization as we continue to concentrate on the chamber’s core mission of serving the needs of our business members. She has tremendous enthusiasm for working with people and organizations and we are pleased to have her on our team.”

“It is an honor to work with the chamber of commerce in this role,” Dahlbeck said. “I am thrilled to be connected to the Jamestown regional business community in this way and look forward to assisting in a variety of ways in the months ahead.”

The Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce has six community chambers each serving their communities by planning and hosting events that draw customers to local businesses and connect businesses to each other in meaningful ways. The Jamestown Community Chamber of Commerce is currently working to finalize plans for its Salute to the Finest awards celebration on March 4 and to develop an additional promotion to boost local business on March 16 after the Turn the River Green celebration for St. Patrick’s Day.
