Spectrum Eyecare has announced that Dr. Thomas Gullotti will be joining the practice of Dr. Henry Mole, Dr. Christopher Colburn, Dr. James Schultz and Dr. Anna Wohlgemuth on Jan. 1, 2019.

Gullotti has owned and operated his optometry practice for 40 years in Jamestown. Spectrum Eyecare is owned and operated by its local doctors and has transitioned through several locations as the practice has grown over 35 years in Jamestown. The location at 555 Fairmount Ave. was built in 1995 to provide a permanent home for Spectrum Eyecare and was renovated in 2014 for improved patient experience. Available services at Spectrum Eyecare include eye examinations to diagnose and manage diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, red eyes, dry eyes, cataracts, eyeglasses, contact lenses, children’s vision and other causes of vision problems.

Gullotti stated, “I am pleased to be able to join my colleagues at Spectrum Eyecare. I have always believed that patients are best served when the provider of their care has independent control of their health care decisions. This care philosophy is shared by the doctors and staff at Spectrum Eyecare. As I transition to retirement, I am comfortable that the patients who have placed their confidence in me will find their experience at Spectrum Eyecare to be equally satisfying. ”

Gullotti will be providing care for his current patients during his available clinic hours at Spectrum Eyecare. He is scheduling 2019 appointments now. All Spectrum Eyecare doctors are accepting new patients and look forward to the high expectations of Gullotti’s patients when he is not available. Gullotti’s current patient records will be maintained at Spectrum Eyecare and his office phone number will begin forwarding to Spectrum Eyecare on Jan. 1, 2019.
