Mark S. Sonner and Christopher M. Rhinehart recently joined the firm, Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, P.C., as staff accountants in the firm’s Jamestown and Orchard Park offices, according to Jack Whipple, CPA, managing partner of the firm.

Sonner and Rhinehart will be responsible for preparing tax returns for a variety of individual and business clients. In addition, they will be involved in preparing financial statements related to compilations, reviews and audits.

Sonner, of East Aurora, earned his bachelor’s degree in public accountancy from SUNY Fredonia. He is a graduate of Iroquois Central School District.

Rhinehart, of Olean, earned his bachelor’s degree in public accountancy and economics from SUNY Fredonia. He is a graduate of Olean High School.
