WESTFIELD — The Village of Westfield Planning Board will hold a work session meeting on Wednesday, May 24, from 3-5 p.m. in the North Room of Eason Hall. The purpose of the work session meeting is primarily to review the current uses in the B-2 (Highway Business District).

Ukulele Jam Thursday In

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Free Library invites the public to a Ukulele Jam on Thursday, May 25 at 6 p.m. This special time for playing music together will be led by Cassadaga Valley Central School music instructor Nicole Zenns. This free program is open to beginners and players at every level. Ukuleles will be provided to those who don’t have an instrument. Please register in advance if you will need a ukulele, as supplies are limited. The library is located at 15 Main Street in Sinclairville, and you may register by calling 716-962-5885 or by email to info@sinclairvillelibrary.org. Volunteers To Place Flags On Veteran’s Day

The United Veterans Council of Jamestown is looking for volunteers to help place flags on veteran’s graves on Thursday at Lakeview Cemetery beginning with a short memorial service at 4 p.m. in Soldier’s Circle. For more information call 716-450-6768.

Day Madness Fundraiser On Saturday

The War Vets is having its annual Memorial Day Madness fundraiser Saturday at the Fluvanna clubhouse. Refreshments will be available. The public is welcome to attend.

American Legion To Hold Annual Memorial Day Services

MAYVILLE — VFW Post 8647 and American Legion Post 493 will hold its annual Memorial Day services in Mayville on Monday. The parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Celebration Hall and the ceremony begins at 11 a.m. in front of the Chautauqua Hometown Heroes gazebo at the entrance to Mayville Cemetery. A light lunch will be served at the VFW Post 8647 on Memorial Drive following the ceremony. The public is welcome to attend.

Rummage Sale To Be Held

CASSADAGA — Cassadaga American Legion Unit 1280 will be holding its seventh annual rummage and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at the post, 228 Maple Ave., Cassadaga. A bag sale begins at 1 p.m. The post will accept items for the rummage sale from 2 to 7 p.m. May 31 through June 2. will be accepting items from May 31-June 2 from 2:00- 7:00 pm.
