Outdoor Club To Hike On Sunday

The Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike the bean field area in Irvine on Sunday. The group will meet at 2 p.m. at the parking area on old Route 6 in Irvine. This will be about a 4-mile hike. Linda Ross will be the leader and can be reached at 814-688-5908 for any questions.

Library Board Meeting Scheduled For Tuesday

FREWSBURG — The Myers Memorial Library board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The public is welcome to attend.

Fenton Workshop Series Begins March 25

The annual Fenton History Center Workshop Series begins Saturday, March 25. The class will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon  and the topic will be Irish research. This is the first in a series of six lectures and the cost is $10 a class or $50 for the entire series for those who sign up for all six at once and are a member. The non-member cost is $20 a class and $100 for the series when registering for all six classes at once. Spaghetti Dinner To Be Held March 26

Cattaraugus County 4-H will hold its eighth annual spaghetti dinner from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, March 26, at the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds corporate building. Dinner will be served from 3-6 p.m. or until sold out followed by a pie auction at 6 p.m. and a basket raffle drawing. The cost is $10 pre-sale, $12 at the door and $7 for children 7 and under. Tickets are available at the Cattaraugus County 4-H office. For more information, call 716-699-2377 ext. 130. All proceeds from the event will be used for improvements to the livestock facilities at the fairgrounds.

Free Writing Workshop On April 4

LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood Memorial Library will host a free writing workshop entitled “How To Write Your Empire Plan” with local author Isaiah Rashad II on Tuesday, April 4, from 4 to 6 p.m. Details can be found on the library website (lakewoodlibrary.org) and its Facebook page.
