Bemus Point Library Board Meets Today

BEMUS POINT — The The Bemus Point Library board will meet at 5:30 p.m. today in the library. The public is welcome to attend.

Committee To Meet Thursday

Mayville Senior Citizens Gather Thursday

MAYVILLE — The Mayville Senior Citizens will meet at noon Thursday at the VFW in Mayville. Pat Cook, accompanied by guitarist Mike Gerholdt, will be the entertainment. Members are asked to pay 2023 dues, and everyone is welcome to attend. Bring a dish to pass. Should Chautauqua Lake Central School be closed due to the weather, the meeting will be canceled.

Class To Meet Saturday

The Warren High School Class of 1957 will meet at 12a:30 p.m. Saturday, March 18, at Lawson’s West End, 1413 Pennsylvania Ave. West, Warren.

Sherman School Board Meeting Set For Monday, March 20

SHERMAN — The Sherman Central School Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 20. The meeting will be held in-person in the school’s auditorium. Members of the public are encouraged to attend. It is required that all in attendance must observe social distancing. While facial coverings are not required they are recommended.

County Soil, Water Conservation Monthly Board Meeting Set

The Chautauqua County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold its monthly board meeting on March 22 at 8:30 a.m. at the Chautauqua County Soil & Water Conservation District office, 220 Fluvanna Ave., Suite 600, Jamestown. The purpose of this meeting is to approve the district’s spending, projects, and to ensure the production of soil and water projects is on track. For more information, call 716-664-2351, ext. 5.

AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary To Host Dinner

The AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary 726 will be hosting a dinner on Saturday, March 25, from 4 to 7 p.m., or until sold out, at the ILS Veterans Club, 364 Fluvanna Ave., Jamestown. Proceeds will support Paws With A Cause, an organization which both trains and provides service dogs at no cost to disabled veterans. The ladies will be serving a choice of three dinners: corned beef and cabbage, liver and onions, and eggplant parmesan for vegetarian diners. All dinners include dessert. The cost of the dinner is $12 for adults and $5 for children ages 10 and under. The dinners may be eaten on site or take-outs are available. The club will have the bar area open at noon.
