Fundraiser For Nolan’s Race Today
FALCONER — The Falconer junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams will host a fundraiser for Nolan’s Race today when they play Southwestern. The junior varsity game starts at 5 p.m. with the varsity game starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Falconer High School gym. In early August, Nolan LeBaron, 16, was diagnosed with leukemia. Nolan’s father, Mike, is a teacher at Falconer and Nolan is a student at Frewsburg. Nolan’s Race was established by friends and families from the Falconer and Frewsburg communities to assist the LeBaron family with the expenses they will incur. Players, family and fans are asked to wear orange to today’s game. There will also be a bake sale and 50/50 giveaway with all donations going to Nolan’s Race.
