Church To Host Vacation Bible School

FALCONER — Ross Mills Church, 3843 Ross Mills Road, Falconer, will hold Wilderness Escape Vacation Bible School each day from 6-8 p.m. through Thursday. Children of any age and families are invited to come join a tribe of Israel and travel back to Bible times with Moses as he leads the tribes through the Red Sea, all while making new friends, playing games, making crafts and having dinner in the Israelite Camp. Information Meeting To Take Place On Wednesday

MAYVILLE — A public information meeting on the Study of Funding Mechanisms for Chautauqua Lake Protection and Rehabilitation, Phase I will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the third floor legislative chambers of the Gerace Office Building, 3 N. Erie St., Mayville. The meeting will be in-person and open to the public. The study details various types of ways to raise money for Chautauqua Lake maintenance, including a possible taxing district. Blood Drives Set Locally

Community Blood Bank will be hosting the following blood drives: the Chautauqua County building, 3 N. Main St., Mayville, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10; at Rand Machine Products, 2072 Allen St. Ext., Falconer, from 1-5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11; and at Westfield Memorial Hospital, 189 E. Main St., Westfield, from noon-4 p.m. Friday Aug. 12.

Band To Perform At Ellery Town Park

ELLERY — Barbara Jean and Dalt Berringer Jazz will be performing at the Ellery Town Park from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday. The public is encouraged to attend. The performance will be the last for the 2022 summer season.

Celoron Water Pump Test Set

CELORON — The annual water pump test will be conducted at the 101 Jackson Ave. warehouse in Celoron beginning around 8 a.m. Friday. Water in Celoron and west toward Lakewood may become discolored and take 12 to 24 hours to clear.
