Harmony Seniors Meet On

Thursday

Harmony Senior Citizens will be meeting at noon Thursday at the Panama United Methodist Church. Lunch will be a “Mr. Potato Head.” Baked potatoes will be provided and members are to bring toppings. Those who prefer to bring something else are free to do so. Election of officers will be held for the coming year and following the meeting, members will enjoy bingo. Roberta and Tom Karlson and Laurie and Fred Russell are on the table committee.

Blodgett, Pierce Family Reunions Scheduled

DUNKIRK — The Blodgett and Pierce family reunions will be held Saturday, Aug. 6, at Point Gratiot, Dunkirk, in the large pavilion. Those attending should use all precautions to make family members feel safe. Bring a dish to pass and each family’s own drink and place settings. Bring what families know of their personal genealogy and recent births, marriages and deaths to compare and add to/change what the family has compiled in the family genealogies. Also bring old photographs and memorabilia to share. Bring addresses and email addresses for everyone in each family ages 18 years old and above. Information on family genealogical information and recent births, marriages and deaths can also be sent to Douglas Nelson: 956 Forest Ave, Jamestown, NY 14701, or emailed to dnelson19@sthy.rr.com. The Blodgetts will be celebrating their 150th reunion in 2024. Family members are asking the group to think of things to do for the 150th reunion.

Kennedy Free Library To Host Craft Shower Aug. 6-7

KENNEDY — The Kennedy Free Library is hosting a craft show at the Kennedy Fireman’s Grounds on Aug. 6-7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. There will be craft vendors, hot dogs, pop, water, a bake sale, prizes for children and face painting available. Vendors are still being accepted. Valley Historical Society To Host Quilt Show

Aug. 6

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Valley Historical Society will host a quilt show at the museum in Sinclairville on Saturday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free. There will be both new and old quilts on display. To have a quilt displayed, call Betty Jean Ridout at 716-962-2309.

Ross Grange Members To Gather On

Monday

FALCONER — Ross Grange will meet Monday at the Falcons Nest. Those attending should bring a sack lunch to eat at 12:30 p.m. Beverages and dessert will be furnished. Items from the first-place County Fair booth will be on display. Those who loaned items should plan to take them home.
