League Holds Meet Candidates Night For

FREDONIA — The League of Women Voters of Chautauqua County will a Meet the Candidates forum on Thursday, Aug. 18 at 7 p.m. At the event will be the two vying for the state’s 23rd Congressional district. They are Republican Joe Sempolinski and Democrat Max Della Pia. The event will take place in the conference room at the BOCES LoGuidice Educational Center, 9520 Fredonia-Stockton Road, Fredonia. Questions will be accepted from the live audience and by phone during the forum by calling 716-679-5227. Cass. Class Of 1976 Holding 46th Reunion Weekend Of

The Cassadaga Valley Central School Class of 1976 will be having its 46th reunion the weekend of Aug. 5-7. All alumni from CVCS are invited to attend events on Friday, Aug. 5. Luncheon Aug. 9

The most recent luncheon of the Jamestown-Warren Christian Women Village Missions Marian Partners was held at Pellegrino’s Italian Market, Warren, with guitar music by Bart Green of Warren that included guests playing “Yesterday,” “Amazing Grace,” and “How Great Thou Art.” Spritual guest speaker Linda Dingeldein of Calvary Baptist Church, Warren, spoke on how to handle the unexpected delays that come one’s way. Dingeldein summarized her panic and anxiety moving and living in foreign countries, adapting to new cultures during her pastor husband’s years as ministering to others and being overwhelmed with health issues. She also promoted her book on “Praying Life in the Word … a Woman’s Guide to Praying Scripture” inspired during COVID isolation. The August luncheon meeting will be held in Jamestown at ReaLife Church, 558 E. Second St., Tuesday, Aug. 9, at noon with Pastor Sue Ford speaking on learning to trust God. Falconer Athletic Meeting Is Aug. 9

FALCONER — The Falconer mandatory athletic meeting for fall sports will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the athletic complex field. All fall athletes and a parent are asked to attend.
